with our own director Christine Mahin!
Q: In what
manner do you write the script?
A: The four
writers, Christine, Colleen, Lisa and Liz meet to discuss plot
lines. It is then sub-divided into three parts. For the first
two episodes, Christine has written scenes that mainly deal with
Riley and Cassie. Colleen’s scenes revolve around Kat and her
situation. Lisa and Liz both write scenes that mostly concern
Curtis and Floyd. After they are written they are handed over
to Christine who edits and weaves the script together.
Q: How did
you come up with these characters?
A: These
characters are loosely based on real people and situations the
writers themselves have encountered in their lives.
Q: Is there
any drama on the set between cast and/or crew members?
A: No not at
all! Everyone gets along and works together as a team.
Q: What is
it like shooting on the “set”?
A: It is a
lot of fun. The blooper reel is a good example of what the
atmosphere is like working on “set.”
Q: What is
ultimately your direction and goal for the show itself?
A: The show
is meant to be a light-hearted drama that has both comedic and
romantic qualities. It provides a creative outlet for those who
perhaps want to pursue writing, directing, acting etc.
Therefore, our purpose is just to have a fun and enjoyable time
with people who have similar interests in production and
television. |
